With the pregnancy bug in the water system, you are bound to know someone who is having a baby, if you aren't having one yourself. Pregnant women equal shopping time. 1. Nappies, nappies and more nappies. This may seem like a boring gift, but this is exactly why you should get it. Noone wants to be that person who bought the boring gift but you know what, yours will be the favorite! At least this gift is something that they can use and will save them time and money in the long run. You can still make this gift look amazing remember, in fact many stores offer special boxes for presenting nappies in for just this type of occasion

2. Blankets, burp cloths, cloth nappies etc. These are the gifts that keep on giving. They may seem like plain gifts but I can tell you first hand that as a parent, you can never have enough blankets, throws, wipe cloths etc. But this is the trick. Don't buy the small novelty baby blankets because they are only useful for the first few months. Buy the larger size ones and you will see your gift favored for years to come.

3.Pamper that new Mom. You can never go wrong with taking care of Mom, because quite often she gets overlooked at these occasions and more often than not she will certainly forget about herself! Let the new Mom get the star treatment she deserves and shout her to some indulgence.

This is one of the best gifts you can get and although it may seem that no thought has gone into it, the opposite is in fact true because new parents often do not know what they need and so giving them the gift certificate for the baby shower is a very genuine way of letting them choose in their own time what is best for the new baby.

Tip: I don't suggest buying clothing unless the parents-to-be suggested so. Chances are they have already gone shopping and couldn't resist those tiny adorable outfits.
