What started out as a small substance in the mothers womb soon reaches a time when he or she actually requires their own bed. The day when your child is old enough to be separated from you and settle in their own bed can be an emotional one.

While this might tug at your heart strings in that you do not ever want to lose the closeness and feeling of intimacy, it's important to let this natural phase of development take place in as natural and organic a way as possible.
