On that same note, it can be one of the most difficult of tasks to accomplish as the art of conception boils down to precise timing. In order for a woman to become pregnant she must be ovulating at the time of intercourse. This can be hard to do if the woman doesnt know when she is ovulating. This is where a fertility chart can help to predict ovulation.

There are many charts out there for women to use so it can be confusing as to choosing the one that will work best for you but for the most part they all work the same. What a fertility chart does is it helps you to keep track of what your body is doing and when it does it. This allows you to track your ovulation so that you will now when it is best to try to conceive. The key is to keep track of certain things so that you will know when ovulation occurs.

Your basil body temperature in very simple terms is the temperature of your body when it is resting. Charting you basil body temperature will help you to know when you are ovulating. A shift in temperature will be the indication that ovulation is near. Another charting method that you will is called a cervical mucus analysis. This is simply the technique of charting the changes in your cervical mucus. Charting the position of your cervix is just one other way of tracking your ovulation. If you are going to chart your cervical position it is important that you make a note of its position every day.

When you are ready to ovulate your cervical mucus will become clear and stringy much like an egg white. Your BBT or basil body temperature will fluctuate by about .4% and your cervix will be low soft and open. You will need to track all of this information on a calendar. Once you chart this information for a couple months you will know when to expect your next ovulation. This will help you plan the best time to have intercourse with your partner.

Many drug stores carry ovulation predictors these can be helpful in tracking fertility as well. Fertility charting kits will come with detailed instructions on how to keep track of your BBT, cervical mucus and the position of your cervix. You can find these kits for sale on the internet. You can also find them at your local pharmacy. Many discount retailers will have these as well. They are located in the same place as the pregnancy tests. If you have a hard time finding them, dont be embarrassed to ask the pharmacist for help. Keep track of when you fee hormonal changes in your body as well. Such as when your breasts are tender or you are overly emotional. These can be predictors of ovulation or predictors that your period may start soon.
